Exploration and Appraisal: Securing Future Supply
We employ cutting-edge geological and geophysical techniques to identify and rigorously evaluate new gas prospects in high-potential basins. This phase involves meticulous seismic interpretation, detailed subsurface modeling, and targeted appraisal drilling programs. Our objective is to confirm the commercial viability, size, and characteristics of new gas reserves to secure AGL’s long-term production pipeline.
To be a top-tier, indigenous gas and energy company, safely delivering sustainable returns and contributing to national energy security.
Development and Production: Operational Excellence
- Once a field is proven, we focus on the efficient and timely development of the resource. This includes the design and construction of drilling and completion programs, subsea infrastructure, and robust surface facilities. Our production operations are managed with a commitment to maximizing reservoir recovery rates, optimizing production efficiency, and maintaining the highest safety and environmental standards for the long-term stewardship of the gas fields.

Gas Processing and Infrastructure: Delivering Market-Ready Energy
- We recognize the critical need for robust infrastructure to transform raw gas into a marketable product. AGL invests significantly in state-of-the-art processing facilities to remove impurities (such as water, CO2, and H2S), and to separate natural gas from valuable associated liquids (condensate). Furthermore, we develop and maintain a reliable network of pipelines and transportation systems to ensure the efficient, safe, and consistent delivery of processed gas to national and regional markets.
New Energy Ventures: Driving Downstream Growth and Energy Transition
- Looking beyond traditional production, AGL is strategically exploring and investing in downstream applications and new energy solutions that leverage our natural gas resources. A primary focus is on Gas-to-Power projects, where we utilize our gas to fuel highly efficient power generation plants, thereby addressing regional energy demand and promoting reliable electricity supply. We are also evaluating other novel downstream opportunities, including compressed natural gas (CNG) for transportation and potential small-scale liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects, positioning AGL at the forefront of the energy transition.
